Ludington State Park features 18 miles of hiking and biking trails; 5,300 acres of hardwood forest, hills, ravines and lofty dunes; miles of sandy beach and three campgrounds. In addition, the Great Lakes Visitor Center, a premier interpretive facility, is located in the park. The park is tucked between Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake, each sporting their own swimming areas and concessions.
